DURAND SCOTT CELEBRATES (Robert Willet/Raleigh News & Observer)MIAMI 68, NORTH CAROLINA 59 - The Tar Heels will likely win a conference game at some point, but probably not any time soon. Ol’ Roys latest group of talented youngsters have been slow to embrace the system and have problems both offensively and defensively as a result.Marcus Paige isn’t Kendall Marshall because nobody is. James Michael McAdoo isn’t nearly as good when the court isn’t opened up and the opposing team’s defense focused on four NBA first round draft choices. Defensively, UNC often lacks focus and sorely misses an inside shot blocker and on offensive they suffer huge scoring droughts like the one last night that lasted seven crucial minutes of the second half. .That said, Kenny Kadji scored 18 points and Miami pulled away to beat North Carolina on Thursday night. Julian Gamble had 14 points and Durand Scott and Shane Larkin each had 11 for the Hurricanes (11-3, 2-0 ACC).The Hurricanes led for most of the second half, shot 47 percent on 25-of-53 shooting while holding the Tar Heels to one field goal during the aforementioned seven-minute span late in the game.Miami won its third straight, claimed its first 2-0 start to ACC play since joining the conference in 2003-04 and beat North Carolina for just the third time and first since 2006.McAdoo finished with 14 points and Reggie Bullock had 11 for North Carolina (10-5, 0-2), which lost its first two league games for the first time since 2008-09.

So far no one is really sure what that is other than "get the ball to Reggie Bullock" which is obviously a...
