Delaware State is also scheduled to play North Carolina AT&T on that same day, and since that game could not be rescheduled, they were forced to forfeit. - Michigan is planning on building a soccer stadium around the one of the three new fields near the Varsity Tennis Center. The project, if approved by Regents, will cost $6 million.
- Carol Hutchins was named the Big Ten Coach of the Year, and Nikki Nemitz was named the Big Ten Pitcher of the Year.
- ESPN featured Michigan quarterbacks coach Rod Smith as a "recruiter to watch." The blurb includes a quote from running back Brennan Clay, a former teammate of Tate Forcier's who Michigan is recruiting.
- A poster on MGoBlog put together a recap of the Washington, D.C. alumni event that featured Rich Rodriguez, John Beilein, Red Berenson, and Bill Martin.
- It looks like the feud between Pahokee High School and Tennessee head coach Lane Kiffin is heating up.
- Speaking of Tennessee, Robert Marve is apparently considering walking on to the Vols instead of taking a scholarship and going to Purdue.
- Greg Paulus is headed to Syracuse.
