Before the season started, I remember telling folks that Tim Henderson will never the credit that he deserves. The 6-foot-2 local walk-on is actually a lot better than most know.
Playing alongside Peyton Siva, Russ Smith and Kevin Ware has helped Henderson vastly improve over the last two years. The fact that he can check in for spot minutes and you sometimes don’t notice he’s out there is a good thing.
The roof on Lucas Oil Stadium almost came off as he knocked down a three late in the second half on Sunday, but the trey ball isn’t what stood out the most in my opinion. It was his defense. Henderson did a great job of coming in and helping maintain the defensive intensity.
