Kirk Bohls of Statesman.com has confirmed that Tony Woods will enroll at Texas. Bohls predicted earlier this week that Woods would be a Longhorn. It sounds like Woods had a tough time making up his mind. The 6-10 Wake Forest transfer was committed to the Cards for nearly a year after he left Raleigh last spring. In fact, Woods actually lived in Louisville for the past few months and attended Jefferson Community College. When assistant coach Tim Fuller left the Cardinal program in April to pursue the same position with Missouri, Woods then started to reconsider his options. Fuller is believed to be the main reason Woods wanted to be a Card in the first place. After making an unofficial visit to Kentucky at the beginning of May, there was a lot of talk that Woods would end up in Lexington.
