Jordan Clarkson scored 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds in Tulsa's 57-51 win over Jackson State on Tuesday night.
Clarkson shot 60 percent from the field (6-for-10), made both his shots from 3-point range and added three steals in the win.
Jackson State entered the second half trailing by only three points, 23-20, but struggled to distribute the ball efficiently, managing only two team assists. Tulsa (4-2) outscored the Tigers 37-28 in the second half.
Tulsa shot 65 percent (13-for-20) in the second half to pull away from Jackson State (1-5) and seal the victory.
Kelsey Howard led the way for Jackson State with 19 points. Jenirro Bush added 13 points and Christian Williams chipped in with 14 for the Tigers. Only one other Jackson State player scored in the loss, as Keeslee Stewart added five points off the bench.
