A pair of Indiana Hoosiers were arrested early Friday morning near a nightclub in downtown Bloomington and were charged with minor consumption of an alcoholic beverage and possession of false identification.Guards Yogi Ferrell and Stanford Robinson were slapped with handcuffs outside Kilroy's Sports Bar around 1 a.m. when both attempted to enter the establishment using fake I.D.'s. This is according to a press release by the Indiana State Police. Both players were issued summonses and released. They are set to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. Sunday.Ferrell, 21, initially denied reports that he had been arrested via his Twitter account. However, he has since issued an apology through a statement released through the university. Robinson also did the same. The general sentiment from both players was they felt as if they let people down.Head coach Tom Crean also issued a statement on the matter:"We are aware of the two infractions with a couple of the guys on our team," he said in the statement. "One of our big problems on the court this year was solid decision making, which directly mirrors our lack of decision making off the court. We had too many players that had a maturity problem all year and that maturity has not grown yet to where it needs to be. This isn't about a time of year or a special week on campus. This is about poor judgment, selfishness of actions, and disrespect for what this program stands for. We will continue as we have all year to push the responsibility of what it means to play in this basketball program and to represent yourself beyond reproach. We have been successful in doing that in the past and will continue to demand those same principles."Ferrell led the Hoosiers in scoring last season with 17.3 points per game en route to earning second-team All-Big Ten honors.Robinson appeared in all 32 of Indiana's games and tallied 6.4 points and 2.5 assists per game.Via Indy Star
