South Alabama (10-9, 2-6) fell behind 18-7 within the game's first eight minutes and trailed 35-22 at halftime. UALR opened the second half on a 17-4 run to lead 52-26 at the 12:06 mark to ensure the lopsided victory. South Alabama's Augustine Rubit led all scorers with 22 points on 7 of 10 shooting to compliment his team-leading seven rebounds. South Alabama shot a paltry 25 percent (4 of 16) from 3-point range.
