In a matchup that Buffalo would rather not have on their schedule, the Bulls had no difficulty as they easily defeated Notre Dame (Ohio) 84-64 on Friday night at Alumni Arena.
From the opening tip-off, Buffalo had no trouble against an overmatched Notre Dame squad, starting the game with a 13-0 run.
UB forwards Javon McCrea and Will Regan dominated in their little time on the court, combining to score 32 points while pulling down 13 rebounds.
Starting once again at point guard for the injured Jarod Oldham was freshman Jarryn Skeete who performed well, scoring 10 points as he helped energize the Bulls starting five.
While he has only started a few games in his first season with the Bulls, Skeete has certainly impressed UB head coach Reggie Witherspoon.
“He has all the necessary skills. He shoots it, he passes it, he can run a team” said Witherspoon.
Buffalo dominated in every facet of the game, shooting 54.4% from the field while holding Notre Dame to under 40% shooting.
