Coastal Carolina has won 25 games this season, a mark which included 22 in a row at one point.

However, over the course of the past week or so, things have not been so good for the Big South Conference leader.

Following a February 15th loss at the hands of Gardner-Webb, the Chanticleers announced the suspension of their leading scorer, Desmond Holloway. In the loss to Gardner-Webb, Coastal Carolina also lost starting point guard, Kierre Greenwood, with a torn knee ligament.

Heading into Tuesday night's home contest with UNC-Asheville, Coastal Carolina was down to seven scholarship players and a walk-on.

A poor inbounds pass and a miraculous shot was the final play of the game on Tuesday, one that ended with a stunned crowd in Conway, South Carolina.

Here's a look at how things ended at Kimbel Arena:

With 2.8 seconds remaining, UNC-Asheville's Matt Dickey stole the inbounds pass and let fly a 3-pointer that was the difference in the game.
UNC-Asheville improved to 14-13 overall and 9-7 in the Big South, while the loss for Coastal Carolina is their second in the last three games.
Despite the heart-breaking loss, the Chanticleers can clinch an outright Big South Conference regular season title with a victory over Charleston Southern on Saturday afternoon.
