Justin Hawkins had 23 points, seven rebounds and five steals Wednesday night to lead UNLV over Cal State San Marcos 94-50. Chace Stanback added 16 points, Carlos Lopez had 11 and Brice Massamba finished with 10 for the Rebels (9-1), who travel to No. 14 Wisconsin on Saturday. Mike Moser had 12 rebounds for UNLV, which led 47-27 at halftime. The Rebels committed only eight turnovers in the game. Aaron Chamberlain led Cal State San Marcos (5-6), a first-year NAIA program, with 24 points, converting 10 of 11 field goals. The Cougars shot 51 percent from the field. The game was played at the Orleans Arena as the Rebels were forced out of their normal home, the Thomas & Mack Center, due to the National Rodeo Finals.
