I'm all for Michael Phelps and patriotism, but this kid from Jamaica is just off the charts fast. Usain Bolt just set a new world record in the 200-Meter Final with a 19.30 beating the previous time of 19.79 by Michael Johnson. USA's Wallace Spearmon finished third but was disqualified for running out of his lane, so Shawn Crawford (also of the U.S.) took the bronze in his place. Churandy Martina of the Netherlands finished second in 19.82 and was never even close to Bolt.
I've also never been more pissed in my life that NBC didn't show it live online just to save it for primetime tonight. It's my mission now to find the video and post it here. If you see it online please let me know.
