Virginia was not looked on very favorably by the ACC in the second half of the season. Now part of it no one could have seen, like the fact that FSU was going to be this good or that Maryland was going to field a very decent team. But games like 2 contests with UNC or away matches with our “rivals” Virginia Tech and the afore mentioned Maryland does not help our chances for post season play. But we do get a few breaks, and the first one comes on Wednesday, when the Hoos entertain Wake Forest. So what are we in for? Let’s get to the preview. Team Wake Forest is 11-12 on the season and 2-7 in the ACC. They have found themselves in a 3 (or 4 way) tie at the bottom of the league, but have an opportunity to move up with remaining games against GT (home and away), and Clemson and Boston College at home. Wake’s non-conference schedule was not very daunting and finished up 9-5. No really decent wins, except for a neutral win against Texas Tech and an away win against Nebraska in the ACC-B...
