Via Big Lead:
In the big match up between Calipari’s Wildcats and in-state rival Louisville Cardinals, Calipari pulled of a rare trick we often do not see in basktball. Late in the first half, Louisville’s Russ Smith fouled Nerlens Noel, a 52% free throw shooter. Noel calmly steps to the line, but turns around as if to get instruction from Coach Cal while Alex Poythress calmly steps to the line and takes the two shots without anybody in the arena noticing.

Video: Kentucky switches free throw shooter without refs noticing
BrettThe poor start to Kentucky’s season continued on Saturday as the Wildcats fell to Louisville 80-77. With the loss, the Wildcats fell to 8-4. During the game, Kentucky successfully pulled something off I thought I would never see in a college basketball game. The Wildcats pulled the free throw switcheroo, right in front of the referees.
With 1:05 left in the first half, the...

Video: Highlights Louisville 80 – Kentucky 77
As I waited around the house today before departing for the airport to catch my flight to New Orelans, I re-watched Saturday’s Louisville vs. Kentucky game. Chane Behanan is just as deserving as Russ Smith for Big East player of the week. Behanan was the best player on the floor on Saturday. Here is an awesome highlight mix from Saturday’s game.
Louisville beats Kentucky 80-77
In front of a hostile and record crowd, the Kentucky Wildcats rallied from 17 down but ended up losing to Louisville, 80-77.
Chane Behanan was by far the most impressive player on both sides of the ball. He dominated on the offensive and defensive side of the ball all night long. Early in the game he seemed to play with almost to much emotion and energy, but then again, that...
