The just completed Big Ten regular season might go down as the best in conference history. Along those same lines, the Big Ten Tournament promises to be an elite event from top to bottom. Stuff all 12 participants into a single NCAA tournament region and it would be one of the most intriguing brackets in recent memory. The conference is loaded. Nobody is safe.

YES! YES! YES!
In a complete basketball haze, and not knowing what else to say, that one word over and over again is all I could muster in the immediate aftermath of Indiana’s improbable late game comeback win today over Michigan.
And as you surely know, that victory gave Indiana the outright Big Ten title in one of the toughest Big Ten seasons I can ever remember.
It was a strange...

The favorite to win College Basketball’s National Player of the Year, Indiana’s Victor Oladipo, is having a sensational year on the court. Oladipo, the junior guard who has taken the Big Ten by storm, can also do things well off the court.

As the calendar year hits March, I will tell you why this is the greatest month of the year!
The Madness of March
The birds began to chirp in the AM, spring must be around the corner,
If a calendar year ever needed a liver, March would be its donor,
March brings us luck from St. Patrick; and brings us back to warmer weather,
There is something about the atmosphere in March;

Cody Zeller refused to bask in the glory of an outright Big Ten title the Indiana Hoosiers probably wouldn't have won without him.
''It was a team win,'' Zeller said.
Technically, that's true.
Zeller didn't single-handedly beat No. 7 Michigan on Sunday, it just seemed that way for stretches of the game - and in particular the final minute of the Hoosiers...
ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Many voters for the Big Ten player of the year said this week they would wait until after Sunday’s game to make their decision on who should win the award. The consensus seems to be that it is down to Michigan’s Trey Burke and Indiana’s Victor Oladipo, who matched up against each other at times in Indiana’s 72-71 win at Michigan.
Burke finished the game...
Cody Zeller made a go-ahead layup with 13 seconds left and altered Trey Burke's shot at the other end, lifting No. 2 Indiana to a 72-71 victory over No. 7 Michigan on Sunday that gave the Hoosiers their first outright Big Ten title in two decades.
The Hoosiers (26-5, 14-4) trailed by five points in the last minute but took advantage when the Wolverines (25-6, 12-6) were unable...
Although not on its midseason list, explosive Indiana Hoosiers shooting guard Victor Oladipo is now one of 15 finalists to win the Wooden Player of the Year award. The 6-foot-5, 215 pound Oladipo, born to Nigerian parents and raised in Hyattsville, Maryland, has averaged 13.7 points, 6.0 boards and 2.1 assists over 30 games to date. As a tenacious, lockdown defender with tremendous...
For the Hoosiers to win they would need to play like the team that was picked at the start of the season as the No. 1 squad in the nation. They had to be the team that everyone thought they were (right Dennis Green?).
On Sunday against the Wolverines they were just that and more beating No. 7 Michigan in Ann Arbor 72-71.
It was the big man, Cody Zeller, earning his stripes...
