And you really sorry for Maryland senior David Neal who just three minutes prior was the toast of the Comcast Center after knocking down three straight three pointers to give Maryland a six point lead with seven minutes left. The crowd was rocking, his father was getting face time on TV, it was a Senior Night dream come true. Yeah, not so much now as Wake popped off an 11-0 run and Teague put Neal on the wrong side of the highlight reel.
And the best line on this dunk came from commenter Brick Tamlin over at 850’s blog who said:
When asked for comment, Greg Paulus remarked, “I’ve seen better.”
