Kevin Ware has become a great example of how a star athlete can handle adversity. Ware’s insistance that the team focus on the game right after his horrific injury is something that will be talked about for ages on Louisville’s campus. Ware has remained positive throughout the entire ordeal, repeatedly stating how he’ll be back next season ready to play, but that the focus should be on this year’s team and its goals. He’s been appreciative of all of the support from basketball fans around the nation, and gave one of the most emotional ESPN interviews we’ve ever seen. He also opened up to Fox News’ Shepard Smith, telling him that when he looked at his leg, he thought it looked like a “scene from Texas Chainsaw Massacre”. Ware also said he was humbled by people like Jesse Jackson and LeBron James reaching out to him, and gave his take on the Mike Rice situation at Rutgers. Check it out:

Best of Saturday at the Final Four

Longest. Week. Ever. A broken leg so bad you can't look at it. A coach acting so outrageously you can't stop looking at it. A referee boss allegedly putting out a $5K bounty on a coach. College hoops was all that anyone could talk about this week, and yet it wasn't the teams or the Final Four games that were being talked about. Thankfully, after all that hoopla, the...

Cards tightest family in Final Four

For the past month, I've been trying to figure out what it is about Louisville's historically great pressure defense that made it the prohibitive favorite leading into March, the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA tournament, and the all-over-but-the-net-cutting presumptive NCAA champion going into the Final Four. I looked at all the numbers. The numbers confirmed that, yes...
