Tweet Kevin Ware become nationally known earlier this year after the gruesome leg injury he suffered during Louisville’s run to the NCAA championship last season. Now fully recovered from the broken leg, Ware got some action late in an exhibition game Wednesday night, and responded by knocking down his first attempt. Watch: Ware was recorded dunking during rehab a couple months ago, so his return was inevitable. Nonetheless, it’s nice to see the junior guard back contributing on the court after he was sidelined with the broken leg last season, although his injury was the inspirational push the Cardinals needed to take home the NCAA title. #3 Louisville opens their regular season Saturday November 9 against the College of Charleston, and you can count on Ware being in uniform and eager to help his team win another championship.
