The Villanova Wildcats men's basketball team took a hit on Thursday when junior forward and captain Isaiah Armwood decided to transfer from the university. Villanova recently played a bunch of exhibition games overseas in Europe and Armwood was the starting power forward in each game. Apparently, Armwood and coach Jay Wright talked earlier today and they both decided that it would be best if Isaiah maximized his talent elsewhere. Isaiah would have been a vital peace for the Cats in the Big East this year but I can understand where he's coming from, as the offense is going to revolve around Maalik Wayns, Mouphtaou Yarou, and Dominic Cheek this season. Armwood was a highly touted recruit out of the Baltimore area who Villanova was lucky enough to bring in three years ago. I wish Isaiah the best of luck wherever he goes, and hopefully he can shine at that place.
