Dorenzo Hudson scored 16 points to lead Virginia Tech to an 84-55 victory over North Florida on Monday night. The Hokies (9-3), who won their fourth straight game, broke open a close contest with an 8-0 run to close the first half. Jarell Eddie's 3-pointer with 3 seconds left - his only points of the half - gave Virginia Tech a 40-31 halftime lead. Virginia Tech then used a 19-5 run over a 7-minute stretch in the second half to put the game away. Erick Green and Robert Brown combined to score 13 of the 19 points in that run. North Florida (5-7), which has played a brutal schedule that includes Alabama, Florida, Miami, Ohio State and Kansas State, struggled to take care of the ball against Virginia Tech's man-to-man defense. The Ospreys committed 16 turnovers. Travis Wallace paced the Ospreys with 13 points, while Matt Sauey added 11.
