Week Ahead: Georgia Tech has questions that need answers

Georgia Tech is the most talented question mark in college basketball. What are the Yellow Jackets? Are they an ACC title contender? It's hard to buy that with Tech owning three losses already, but it does seem the conference champion will have the kind of record that prevailed in 2006-07, when North Carolina and Virginia tied at 11-5. Are they an NCAA Final Four dark horse? They are 16-5 overall with quality wins over Clemson, Wake Forest, North Carolina and Duke, although most of the team's best work has been done at home. What is certain is the Jackets have the kind of ability that will intimidate most any opponent they draw in the NCAA Tournament. Big men Gani Lawal and Derrick Favors will play in the NBA soon, and guard Iman Shumpert will get there as he develops.
