The AP All-American team was announced, and as expected the members of the team were John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins from Kentucky, Wesley Johnson from Syracuse, Villanova’s Scottie Reynolds, and Ohio State’s Evan Turner.
Turner was the Big Ten Player of the Year after averaging 20.4 ppg, 51.9% shooting from the field, 36.4 % from beyond the arc, nearly 6 assists a game, 9.1 rebounds per game, almost a block a game, along with 1.7 steals per. Turner helped lead Ohio State to a Big Ten Championship and a Sweet 16 appearance. All of this while missing 6 games this season with an injured back.
How does one keep this guy off the first team ballot? We are looking at you, Ann Arbor.
