(Kevin C. Cox/Getty Images)“We expect John will be fine next weekend,” North Carolina head coach Roy Williams said late Sunday when asked about John Henson’s status for the NCAA tournament.  Henson injured his wrist in the Tar Heels' opening round win over Maryland.

“Basically he felt better today but he wasn’t confident andit didn’t even have to get to the level of I had to decide if he would beeffective or he wouldn’t be effective,” Williams said. “If he wasn’t confidentwith it then in my opinion there was no need to put him out there.”
The last two games of the ACC tournament were the first two Henson has missed in his three-year career.
The 6-foot-11 Henson, a junior, is averaging 13.8 points anda team-leading 10.1 rebounds per game.
