The B1g Time:
Well, it took all of three nights, but I think we may just have our leader in the clubhouse for "Dunk of the Year" in conference play and it belongs to a name you're not likely to be thinking of - Wisconsin's Jared Berggren - who threw down a posterization on poor Sasa Borovnjack.
This came at a crucial moment as well with Wisconsin needing a spark in the second half to extend a lead that was beginning to slip away. This was the last of what were four SportsCenter worthy dunks, two by Berggren and two by Penn State's D.J. Newbill.
All of those dunks should be added to a great resource, the BTN.com Dunk Archive shortly, so check it out to see the rest of these dunks.
It's the first you've gotta see this moment of the season in my book, what say you?

Jared Berggren, Ben Brust and Ryan Evans score 13 points a piece, including a number of key buckets down the stretch, to help Wisconsin survive a late scare and beat Penn State, 60-51, for the 16th straight time at home to open the conference season.
Wisconsin Badgers junior center Travis Frederick has elected to forgo his final season of eligibility with the Badgers and enter the 2013 NFL Draft. He projects as a round 2-4 level pick, and his ability to play both guard and center helps his draft stock.
In short, if you make the starting five up front in Camp Randall, and you grasp the pro style offense of the Badgers, you’ll...
Nothing is going to come easy in Big Ten play for Wisconsin, but the Badgers' veterans made sure UW started on the right fit. Wisconsin's seniors score its final 17 points, including key plays from Mike Bruesewitz and Jared Berggren, to hold off Penn State, 60-51, Thursday night.
Today the Wisconsin Badgers website, had a letter sent to them by Travis Frederick which told the fans he was declaring for the NFL Draft. Pretty Classy Act, I am impressed. Here is the letter.

Dear Badger Nation,
Over the past month, I have faced one of the toughest decisions in my life. Though it has been a long and difficult decision making process, I have decided...
MADISON, Wis. New Wisconsin football coach Gary Andersen wasted little time in announcing the hiring of five new assistant coaches to join the Badgers' staff, which will also include two holdovers from the previous regime. On Thursday, Andersen officially hired offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Andy Ludwig, defensive coordinator Dave Aranda, secondary coach Bill Busch...
MADISON, Wis. Most of the questions surrounding Wisconsin's basketball team before this season focused on guard play. With two underclassmen handling the ball for the first time in big moments, it was determined the Badgers' trio of frontcourt players would be forced to score, rebound and lead in ways they hadn't before. Then, forward Mike Bruesewitz lacerated a leg and...
Well if it worked for Nebraska football against Wisconsin, why not Nebraska basketball? According to Coach Tim Miles on WhoSay, the Huskers will wear these uniforms provided by Adidas when they take on the Wisconsin Badgers this Sunday in their B1G home opener at 3:30 p.m. You can catch the game on the Big Ten Network, The post Photo: Nebraska Basketball to Wear “Red Out”...
Wisconsin will now be without two starters on it's offensive line as on Friday afternoon the Badgers officially announced what was only rumored - that junior center Travis Frederick will declare himself eligible for the upcoming NFL draft. He started 14 games at center this season and will leave Wisconsin as a member of three straight Big Ten Championship football teams.
