Reggie Willhite scored 24 points, including the game-winning layup with 13 seconds left, and Yale rallied to beat Columbia 59-58 on Saturday night.
Yale (16-6, 6-2 Ivy League) snapped a five-game losing streak to the Lions with the win.
The Bulldogs trailed 55-45 before using a 12-3 run to cut the deficit to 58-57 with 37 seconds left. Willhite's layup with 13 seconds left completed the comeback.
Willhite scored six points and had two assists during the run, while the Bulldogs held Columbia to just one bucket over the final 5 minutes.
Columbia (14-10, 3-5) outshot Yale 52.2 percent (24 of 46) to 41.8 percent (23 of 55) and won the rebounding battle 29-27, but the Lions committed 21 turnovers and took only six free throws, converting three.
Yale was 10 of 15 from the charity stripe, recorded 10 steals and outscored Columbia 36-28 in the second half.
