With all the hoopla surrounding the NBA Draft pertaining to Devin Ebanks and Da’Sean Butler, I forgot to mention that the Big East Basketball schedules were released yesterday.
The 18-game format allows teams to play each opponent once and three teams twice. The Mountaineers’ repeat opponents for this season are Pitt (they’d be stupid to not schedule the Backyard Brawl twice...

Devin Ebanks to declare for NBA draft
According to the FoxSports Community, West Virginia University sophomore forward Devin Ebanks will declare himself for the NBA draft.
This past season, he averaged 12 points/game, 2.1 assists/game, and struggled dearly at the 3 point line (.100). His overall shooting percentage was .457, with his free throw percentage at .770.

WVU foils Aggies in Ebanks' season debut
Da'Sean Butler scored 15 of his 17 points in the second half to lead No. 8 West Virginia to a 73-66 victory over Texas A&M in the 76 Classic at the Anaheim Convention Center on Friday. Devin Ebanks made his season debut for the Mountaineers, coming off the bench with 14 points and nine rebounds.

Devin Ebanks has set his schedule of visits, a schedule that will lead to a college decision by May 21.

Devin Ebanks Asks Indiana for Release
Hoopraker spotted a Devin Ebanks look-alike sitting solemnly in Conseco section 15, the seats reserved for families and guests of IU, for Friday's fateful game with Minnesota. As reported by zagsblog, Ebanks was in Indy to visit IU AD Rick Greenspan and formally ask for a release from his National Letter of Intent, which IU will grant.
