... And This Is What College Basketball In Kentucky Will Be Like

I live here and that's about it. I don't care for Kentucky or Louisville. So hearing all the bickering going on (while my beloved Tar Heels sit as defending champions) can give a man a headache.Lost in all the news of Rick Pitino's infedelity, John Calipari's burned bridges and Billy Gillispie's DUI is actual basketball news. So here comes the slime.Pitino just...

Pike's Teague realizes his NBA dream

Jeff Teague received a little sisterly advice Thursday night. When Minnesota selected point guard Ty Lawson at No. 18, Teague became downright nervous.

ACC Basketball Roundup(1/19)

Wake #1? The Demon Deacons almost certainly can make a claim after beating Clemson in Littlejohn to remain undefeated. That is now two top ten wins for the Deacs and Jeff Teague has already been named NPOY, ACC POY and will be drafted #1 in June by an NBA team. Thanks for watching, have a good night. I had someone tell me Wake will win the national title. They very well...

Know Thy Opponent: Wake Forest Demon Deacons

Each year in college basketball, there is a group of young teams flying somewhat under the radar yet capable of a deep run in the tournament. In 2006, a team in the aforementioned group was Billy Donovan's Florida Gators. They were a fringe top-25 team coming into that season, refined their ridiculous pool of talent during [...]
