Lin the Knick of time
After the season the New York Knicks have been having, the emergence of Jeremy Lin couldn’t have come at a better time. Both Carmelo Anthony and Amare’ Stoudemire are out with injuries and the Knicks were already pretty far back in the standings even when those two were in the lineup but Lin is showing how important a good point guard is to Mike D’Antoni’s offense. Having...

In sports, everyone is a winner—some people just win better than others. Like Jeremy Lin, the undrafted Taiwanese-American Harvard guy who signed a two-year, partially guaranteed contract with the Warriors and immediately became the NBA's most popular 12th man.More »

Warriors sign free agent, Harvard grad Lin
Jeremy Lin took a seat in a small room in front of an array of television crews, photographers and print media on Wednesday afternoon. He'd never seen anything like that at Harvard.

Jeremy Lin: Warriors’ Newest Folk Hero
Filed under: Warriors , Summer League , NBA Free Agents There once was a man. Well, we think he was a man. He seems to be more of a fable. The former Harvard University grad blew up Summer League so fully that the Mavs were immediately moved to talk to him about a contract. Then the Lakers got involved

Covering The Ivy: Part VI
In The Running For Player Of The Year
When I started doing these updates a few weeks ago, Jeremy Lin was the clear-cut favorite to take home Player of the Year honors. Things don't look quite so clear now. Lin has gone from outstanding to merely good as Harvard has begun to look like a third-place team over the last two weekends. He did have his best scoring game in two months...

Lin Love
Harvard basketball player Jeremy Lin gets some love from Sports Illustrated. I’m going to Cambridge for the Princeton game next Friday, but this Saturday is a big game for the Crimson at Cornell. Here’s the Harvard version of the Cornell alma mater:
High above Cayuga’s waters
There’s an awful smell.
Some say it’s Cayuga’s waters

Harvard’s Jeremy Lin Torches UConn For 30
Back in Dime #48, I featured Harvard University standout Jeremy Lin. A couple of nights ago, the Crimson’s 6-3 senior point guard went into UConn’s gym and got 30 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks against the 13th-ranked Huskies. UConn ended up winning the game 79-73 over Harvard, but Lin once [...]

Harvard’s Jeremy Lin Sets College Hoops’ Buzzer Beater Standard For 2009-10
After going down one point in the final seconds of a triple overtime game against William & Mary yesterday, Jeremy Lin of Harvard dribbled down the court and hit a prayer of a 3-pointer as time expired for the 87-85 win.
Visit Harvard’s Web site to check this shot out, because it’s not on YouTube and [...]

Crimson Attack
by Dan Totten
Jeremy Lin. Harvard University Basketball. Admit it. You’ve likely never heard of one and the other is far removed from any semblance of hoop hotbed status. Harvard is also likely far removed from being a possible bracket choice for any NCAA Tournament predictions you might be inclined to make for this season.
While you may not pencil in Harvard as one of your predictions...
