True Grit
So apparently, Mike Richards played this season with torn labrums in both shoulders. I don’t know where or what labrums are, but it’s got to hurt. Mike Richards is tough. Speaking of tough, does anyone else think game seven of Ducks/Wings should take place

Can Poor Analogies Cost a Team the Cup?
It’s very interesting to see how the Flyers view their status as a heavily penalized team. Tim Panaccio asked Mike Richards about the Flyers signing someone who can set-up in the crease as well as clear the crease, and Richards said the Flyers can’t afford that kind of player given the amount of penalties they already collect. The thing is, though, to a certain degree...

Flyers Vs. Pens Game 1: Get Your War On
(pic added mid-game)Just a few words before we get the game started tonight. I've already said most of what's on my mind before the series begins, but there are few things I think we're all wondering about. In the hours leading up to the puck drop, I've been wondering what John Stevens will be saying to his players—your players—before they take the ice. They already...

How do you celebrate a four-goal comeback? A nice quiet night at home? Not if you?re a professional athlete. You might hit the clubs, or a strip joint. Or, if you?re the Philadelphia Flyers, you crash a frat party.(Scottie Upshall and Mike Richards practice the 2-on-1)That was the scene ...

Flyers to go vintage with their new 3rd jersey
Not sure if I'm late to the game on this one but it appears that pictures of the Flyers new 3rd jersey for this season have been leaked....
The jerseys are completely of the vintage variety, they are nearly identical to the ones the Flyers wore back when they won their Stanley Cups. I think it's a great look, the white nameplate is a little odd looking at first but it's growing...

Umby Scores Twice, Biron Stands on Head as Flyers Even Series
The Flyers' post-season slogan has been "Vengeance NOW". Obviously in reference to last year's atrocious season, the slogan held particularly true in game 2 against the Montreal Canadiens. In game 1 the Flyers had to battle not only the Habs, but the officials who granted Alex Kovalev a goal that he knocked in from what appeared to be above the crossbar, and were...
