Fan Poll Friday
I’m going to start a new Friday tradition here at ITI. I call it the “Fan Poll.” I have a lot of random thoughts bouncing around between my ears as we inch toward Training Camp 2009. I need your help to decipher them.
Today’s topic is the future of Reggie Brown. The once promising wideout is [...]

If Brown Doesn’t Play; Will He Want Out?
The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that wide out Reggie Brown is okay for now, but if he doesn’t start seeing the ball more in Philly, he might start thinking about wanting out. Here is the report:
Reggie Brown is happy to be in Philadelphia, for now. The Eagles wide receiver said he’s out to prove himself [...]

Reconsidering Reggie
Everyone seems to have written off Reggie Brown. Considering his 2008 disappearing act, it should come as little surprise. A nagging hamstring injury plagued him for months before he was finally benched late in the season. He finished with 18 catches for 252 yards and one score. Poor, to say the least.
Wasn’t this the same [...]

The DeSean Jackson Effect
In my opinion I think the Eagles got very lucky in their drafting of DeSean Jackson. They were drafting a PR and ended up with their #1 wide receiver. In the Reid system rookie WRs don't play, so his impact would strictly come on special teams.Well injuries and Jackson being the best of the WR bunch allowed him to get right on the field. Smart move as Jackson has set numerous...

Getting Better Each Week
It was nice to get away for a few days but it was even better to come back and get a win under our belt. Getting a few guys back healthy was great and I think we will be able to continue to improve on the field as we continue to improve in the health department. Having Tra Thomas and Brian Westbrook back was certainly a boost and I think the absence of L.J. Smith has been overlooked...
