the coaching staff and medical personnel have advised him to wait one more game and return Thursday December 16th when the Wolfpack host Youngstown State.

Smith Will Play for NC State Next Season
Tracy Smith will play basketball for N.C. State next season, his mother said Thursday.
The Wolfpack junior is among the 103 underclassmen on the NBA's list of early entrants but he's not going anywhere, LaShawn Lester said.
"There's nothing to worry about," Lester said Thursday. "He's going to be at N.C. State next year."

The NBA released a list of 80 underclassmen who have declared for this year's draft on Thursday, and as happens every year, there were a handful of names that hadn't been previously reported. Notes heading into N.C. State
If you look at the box score you'll see that N.C. State forward Tracy Smith scored 18 points in the Wolfpack's 88-64 loss to the Terps at Comcast Center last month. But that's a deceptive number.
Smith had only six in a first half in which Maryland built a solid lead. By my tally, he didn't attempt his second shot of the game until 3:30 remained in the first half...
