NEW YORK – Rutgers basketball said goodbye to the Big East last night but may not be done with its 2012-13 season. Multiple postseason options are in play for the Scarlet Knights and if senior Austin Johnson has anything to say about it, he does not want his career to end with a loss to Notre Dame.

PISCATAWAY, N.J. — Though far from pretty, Rutgers took care of business today at the Louis Brown Athletic Center in a 66-52 win over Hampton in the second leg of the Cancun Challenge. Gearing up for two games in Mexico, the Scarlet Knights rode forwards Gilvydas Briuta and Austin Johnson to victory in a game with 42 total turnovers.
