Memphis takes out UTEP in C-USA tournament
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -- Joe Jackson scored 17 points and Tarik Black had a double-double to lead Memphis over UTEP 65-47 in the Conference USA tournament Thursday night.
Jackson tallied five of the Tigers 15 steals, and Memphis (24-8) held UTEP to 34-percent shooting (17 of 50).

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) -- Will Barton scored 24 points and Joe Jackson added 21 to lead Memphis to an 87-67 win over Marshall on Saturday.

Memphis looks to get back on track vs. Jackson St.

Memphis coach Josh Pastner is hoping his team can learn from an unpleasant trip to Hawaii. A couple of winnable home games this week might help the Tigers begin doing that.
