The last of three LSU basketball players who left the program shortly after the school year ended has found a landing spot.
Rising junior Shane Hammink will play for Valparaiso, a small Division I school in the Horizon League. The Crusaders are coached by Bryce Drew, who gained fame when he sank a buzzer-beating basket to lift Valpo past Ole Miss in the 1998 NCAA Tournament.
