McGee Corrals Big 12 Rookie of the Week Accolades

IRVING, Texas - Iowa State junior guard Tyrus McGee was honored by the Big 12 Conference today for his performance on the basketball court last week. A native of Stringtown, Okla., McGee averaged 18.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and was 11-of-20 from 3-point range to earn Big 12 Rookie of the Week honors, announced today by the league office.
