2007 Fantasy College Football Position Battles, Part III (Preseason)

It's officially game week and there are still a lot of players who have just claimed starting jobs for those positions battles that began in the summer. Here's a list of recent verdicts on some of these battles. Weatherford, who has started 23 of the Seminoles' past 26 games, beat out Xavier Lee for the starting slot."Jordan Steffy, QB, Maryland (via Sports Illustrated)"Jordan Steffy will start at quarterback for Maryland in the season opener against Villanova, coach Ralph Friedgen announced Friday.
