Five in a row.
That is something that has been in the head of every Longhorns coach since the fighting Bill Snyder’s started beating Texas every time they schools have played since 2006.
Its almost unexplainable how a team with such a talent deficiency compared to the ‘Horns can win so many times in a row against a team with so much more talent, but with Snyder leading the team, just about anything is possible.
The Wildcats haven’t just had success against the ‘Horns the past few years though. Snyder has won 21 games the past two years with a Cotton Bowl and Fiesta Bowl birth respectively. Much of that success though can be pointed towards the incredible leadership and poise of former quarterback Colin Kelin. Now that Klein is gone, the Wildcats will need to find a player on offense to fill Klein’s big shoes and keep the Wildcats near the top of the Big 12 standings. It’s not going to be an easy task.
