Geno Smith played in his final game as the starting quarterback for the West Virginia Mountaineers in the 2012 Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium before he prepares for the 2013 NFL Draft. Suffice to say, things did not go how Smith would have scripted his final college football game of his great career. It was one thing for the high powered offense of the Mountaineers to get stifled by the Syracuse Orange in a 38-14 embarrassment, but it was another for Smith to make some key mistakes that cost his team a shot at a victory. That was not how we wanted to go out, especially when you consider that he was a Heisman Trophy favorite after the first month of the 2012 college football season. If you look at his final stat line, then things do not appear as bleak for Smith. He completed 16 of 26 passes for 197 passing yards and two touchdown passes to Stedman Bailey. But he was also sacked in the end zone in the first half and called for intentional grounding in the end zone in the second hal...
