Three juniors on the reigning University of Alabama‘s football team have decided to forgo their senior season and declare for the 2013 NFL Draft. RB Eddie Lacy, CB Dee Milliner and OT D.J. Fluker. All three players could potentially be first-round selections in the upcoming lottery. Lacy, playing through an injury plagued season, rushed for 1,322 yards and 17 touchdowns. He was named as the MVP of the BCS National Championship game. “It’s been an amazing experience here. Now is the right time to make the move to the National Football League.” Fluker was a member of one of the best offensive lines in the country, helping to block for a pair of 1,000 yard rushers, a first in Alabama school history. Lacy, along with T.J. Yeldon combined for 2,430 yards and 29 touchdowns. Milliner is the highest rated junior cornerback in the NFL draft according to several scouting sites.
