The BCS is such an asinine organization, they'd tell you the capital of Ohio is O, and believe it. The BCS may have concocted a makeshift national championship to placate the masses with a bland matchup between the Ohio State Buckeyes and the LSU Tigers but that doesn't mean I have to accept it. If the general public's vitriolic reaction is any barometer for the BCS' support, then the BCS Armageddon is upon us.
Even the BCS' staunchest proponents have to question how the Missouri Tigers, the #1 team in the nation 48 hours ago, was jumped by Kansas and Illinois-- two teams Missouri beat on in the opening and final weeks of the season. The lack of a true playoff has also robbed fans of potentially prestigious matchups.
