Girls Don't Know Sports:
Ok, so Florida won last night. And made a good case that they are way
better than Oklahoma. Either that or Tim Tebow is really the second
coming of Christ and God just couldn't bear to see them lose. But I now
want a playoff game between Florida and Utah. Which probably should
have been a possible championship match up to begin with.

Tim Tebow won the 2007 Heisman Trophy over the weekend. Is he the leading candidate for 2008? Who else will be in the running for the 2008 trophy? Here are our early candidates.
Tim Tebow Commits to Florida
Nease High School quarter back star, Tim Tebow of St. Augustine, Florida, committed to the University of Florida Gators football team late this afternoon on ESPN News. Tebow is the number 1 dual threat high school quarterback in the country. He had his choices narrowed down to Florida, Alabama, Geor...
Tim Tebow and Urban Meyer gun for Title
The Florida Gators come in as my pre-season #3 team, as they return 16 starters from a young team one year ago. Not only do they return Tim Tebow but they are one year older in a secondary that showed against the Michigan Wolverines that experience was lacking.
I've followed FS...
Calling It For Tebow
Darren McFadden is not going to win the Heisman. He will likely be the runner up for the second time, joining Charlie Justice of North Carolina and Glenn Davis of Army as the only two players to accomplish that feat.
Barring a performance-for-the-ages by Chase Daniel in a win against Oklahoma on Saturday, this trophy is going to go to Tim Tebow by a solid margin.
Tebow’s NFL future not at quarterback?
My brother and I are certainly not NFL scouts. Nor did we stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. But we do occasionally pretend we know something about the game. One topic we discussed lately was the future of Tim Tebow in the NFL. We agreed that while many mock drafts on the Internet done [...]
Winning the Heisman
Each year, the Heisman trophy is warded to the best college football player in the nation. In 2007, those priviledge few who actually had a vote in the selection process picked Tim Tebow for that prestigious honor. Tebow, who scored...
Whose Got it Tonight?
I've been mulling this one over for quite awhile; going back and forth
between Florida and Oklahoma but I have indeed made my pick for
tonights BCS National Championship Game.At first I was positive
that this was the Sooners year. I thought that Sam Bradford would lead
his team to victory, Heisman in tow but alas it is not meant to be. The
mighty Tim Tebow cannot be slain...
College Football Pick'em Week 15
We have reached the final week of the College Football regular season, and what a journey it has been. Once again the BCS has failed us, and honestly I'm not complaining, it is just one of those things that you come to expect each season like the changing of the leaves. Nonetheless, it is conference Championship week, and there are plenty of BCS games on the line, not to mention...
The best Heisman candidate you'll never hear about.
Okay, Tim Tebow is good. McFadden has it going on. Chase Daniel, Pat White, and Colt Brennen even have what it takes to win the Heisman. However, when I compare these guys to UCF's Kevin Smith, they don't even measure up.
Why no love for Graham Harrell?
Oklahoma's Sam Bradford narrowly beat out fellow QB's Colt McCoy of Texas and Tim Tebow of Florida to win the 2008 Heisman trophy tonight in New York City. There was a bit of controversy this week about Texas Tech QB Graham Harrell not being invited to the Heisman Trophy presentation as a fourth finalist. After seeing the results tonight we now know why that is. He finished...
The worst major-market sports media city in the country
Chicago, of course.
I?d laugh if it weren?t so sad.
We live in a town where one of our national football writers not only thinks that Tim Tebow is a first round draft pick at quarterback, he also thinks that Sam Bradford is not only the number one overall pick, he?s ?a slam-dunk.?
We have a local football writer campaigning for Julius Peppers to become a Chicago Bear without ever...
