The
Bears’ third-round choices Jarron Gilbert from San Jose State and
Juaquin Iglesias from Oklahoma, signed four-year deals today.
Jarron Gilbert was a beast in his four years at San Jose State, he recorded 22.5 sacks in that time.
Juaquin Iglesias ranks second on Oklahoma’s all-time receiving list
with 202 receptions and 2,821 yards and third on the Sooners’ all-time
list with 19 touchdown receptions.
The Bears are the first team in the NFL to sign all of their draft picks, something they also accomplished in 2006.
Of the 256 selections in the 2009 NFL Draft, nine of the 30 who’ve agreed to terms are members of the Bears.
Gilbert should be in the rotation for this season and Iglesias should make an impact on offense and special teams."Jake Perper is the creator of www.BearsBacker.com and also covers the Bears for www.NFLTouchdown.com"
