Dear Mr. Brennan:

It is with great pleasure that we would like to officially welcome you to an elite club I helped found more than a decade ago. Based on your recent performance in the Allstate Sugar Bowl against the Georgia Bulldogs, you've been admitted into the S.O.S.Q., better known as the "Society of System Quarterbacks."

Your memberhip card will arrive in the mail in four to six weeks. In the meantime, I wanted to provide you a little bit more background about our organization and the brotherhood you are about to join...

Brennan got pounded. Coach had to take him out of the game to protect him. They were way out of their league in this one. Oh well.

I agree on that one. The only major sport without a playoff system. Something needs to change.
