Buckeye Apocolypse Over: Chris Wells Looking to Play this Weekend

From of the look of how he left the field on Saturday, it seemed unlikely that Chris Wells would be able to play against Ohio let alone USC the following week. However in what seems to be a Paul Pierce like comeback, Wells is hoping to play this Saturday against Ohio and should be close to 100% in preparation for the big game against USC.

I would bet a month's salary he won't play this weekend against Ohio ( Bobcats). He will rest his foot/toe/ whatever it is that is sore...........for Sept. 13th.

So he dropped like he got shot and fumbled on the goaline because he hurt a toe? Sounds like a real tough-guy! I wonder if it was his baby toe.. Or maybe the step-child second toe...

Tough.........you know how tough he is???

He ran for over 1600 yards last year with a lingering high ankle sprain and a broken wrist that he played through. So before you question someones ability or toughness..................know what you talking about.

Somehow... I miss u antagonizing the buckeyes.... You going to beat Pitt like Bowling Green did?

Funny.......is that an Iowa Hawkeye saying that? What has Iowa won in the last 30 years?

He's not playing against Ohio, which is the right choice. They need him healthy against USC and they're gonna blow out Ohio with me playing tailback.

Ha ha, i hope so, Dave Wannstedt is a close second to Norv Turner as worst head coach of all time...

Norv Turner. Didn't he just almost make the Super Bowl last year and has a team that's supposed to contend this year. Wasn't he the architect of the Dallas offenses that won Super Bowls in the 90's. He's far from the worst coach in the league. He didn't get a chance at Washington. He had nothing to work with and who has been successful at Washington since Snyder took over? Ohio State almost got caught sleeping and if TheTruth would have been playing tailback, they would have lost.......LOL.

That's funny, I don't ever recall Norv Turner being the head coach of the Cowboys.
