The Heisman Trophy debate is all but over. It's Troy Smith's. That was clinched at some point during the Michigan game. But I'm going to go a different route and say Calvin Johnson is the best player in college football, simply because I think he'll be the best NFL player of any current college football player. He has it all: size (6′5″), speed, and hands. The scary thing is he's a junior, so he can return to Georgia Tech for another year of owning the ACC.

Calvin Johnson: ACC Player of the Year

Georgia Tech receiver Calvin Johnson unamimously won the ACC Player of the Year award today. Johnson racked up 900 yards on the season and 13 TDs for a team that only averages 12 completions a game. Out of the 80 ballots cast for the award, Johnson had 66 of them. How good do you think CJ will be in the NFL? Do you think he's overrated, or will he be a stud in the NFL?
