Not that Brennan got any help from his O-Line, but I agree if he does go in the draft he will never be a starter.

Not if he cries after a loss.

Get real everyone. people are just assuming things just because of the last game. Try putting yourself in Colt's shoes. At least he was smart enough to know that Football is not his main career. He could have gone to the NFL last year, but he put school and his future first before the NFL. Have anyone done that before? Congrats to Colt and his achievements and shame on you people who thinks they know it all. - m -HI

Yes, Colt cried. So would any other person in his shoes. He was embraced by the people of Hawaii. His team backed each other up in good and bad. Most of the those Island boys never left Hawaii before, or ever played with such a crowd. Yes, he decided to put a college degree that valued more than a draft for him. He chose wisely. He played with passion and showed his emotions. Even some of the Georgia team palyers embraced his loss. They all know the pain. Colt brought a new sight on the team from Hawaii. He will move on and he will be watched on the big screen someday. Never say never. Believe as they alll did.

I believe that he will become a great Nfl starter, remember Tom Brady went in the seventh round and look who he has become.

I honestly don't think Brennan is that great of a quaterback. Yeah he put up huge numbers but look at who Hawai'i played this season. Close to half the teams they played finished out the year with 2-10 records. They came up against a good team and it showed. I don't blame him for crying. He was on the top of the world and then got destroyed. I don't think there is a chance he'll ever be compared to Tom Brady.

Did you really have to post this that many times???? That's about the number of times Brennan got sacked though, isn't it?

GIVE THE GUY A BREAK. LOOK HOW HE HAS TURNED HIS LIFE AROUND. THIS GUY MIGHT BE BETTER THEN YOU THINK. GREAT CAREER.

Brennan was a sought after QB going into college but had to settle for Hawaii due to his past, he will be a solid QB on Sundays

Yeah........his offensive line didn't give him much help. Also, it's another system like Texas Tech's. NOne of their QB's have made it in the NFL. I don't think the last QB at Hawaii is doing anything in the NFL either and he put up big numbers in college.

lol silly timmy chang is in the canadian league which is obviously better then the nfl

Colt Brennan is so talented and yet humble at the same time. He gave Hawaii the best year in football ever and had not only the pride of a University behind him but the pride of the entire State of Hawaii.
The talent is there and I'm looking forward to watching him in the pros. His line couldn't defend him...but that doesn't mean he is any less talented. He is an amazing QB and forever a "son of Hawaii".

He had a great year, but he's not going to be drafted above a couple of other QB's. He struggled against top-notch competition. Will be intersting to see where he goes in the draft and how he does.

When you say "he struggled agains top-notch competition" - some might say his defense struggled instead. They couldn't hold back Georgia which never gave Brennan a chance to get a shot off.
What if that line had been stronger? giving Brennan a chance to show his stuff...If the line can't hold the other team back it's hard for a quarterback to have a chance. I give credit to Georgia - they are one tough team - but I don't think that necessarily takes away everything a very talented Quarterback did all year. Even if the other teams were "easier to beat" you still have to have the timing and accuracy that Colt Brennan showed all year. His stats are impressive no matter what.

I agree that his stats are great. Not arguing that one. Guess we'll see where he goes in the draft. That will tell us a lot.

Brennan Rocks!

Chang had much bigger numbers than Brennan and where is he now? Warming some bench or is he even playing?

Ahhhhh...Canadian Football League. No wonder I haven't heard his name since he left Hawaii. Brennan will probably join him. And , June Jones has left. So much for the Rainbows.

6 feet, 3 inches @ 185 pounds!!?? Colt better think of some ways to gain some muscle!! Or, he better have the speed of Randy Moss! Because his football life will depend on it!!!
