Defense Concerns Meyer
University of Florida coach Urban Meyer said Sunday that he can't remember having so many weapons on offense. The sixth-ranked Gators may need every one, because Meyer sounded concerned about his defense the day after a 49-3 win against Western Kentucky that was abbreviated by heavy lightning.
Though it didn't show on the scoreboard, the Hilltoppers moved the ball well against Florida even though starting QB David Wolke left in the first quarter with a concussion. The ease with which Western Kentucky moved the ball bothered Meyer, who understands the teams Florida will face in a few weeks will reach the end zone if the Gators don't get better.
