From Rout to Doubt
Just when it looked like the young reserves were going to enjoy their first live action -- and lots of it -- in The Swamp, the Florida starters mysteriously melted down and changed everything.
After a near-flawless first half that saw Tim Tebow and the Gators build a 49-3 lead, Florida went into the tank big time in the second half and turned a comfortable rout into a messy victory that certainly raises concerns heading into next Saturday's Tennessee game. The Gators picked up a 59-31 victory before 90,244 in The Swamp. But what about all those backups who had to think at the half that the rest of the game would belong to them?
