East Hartford, CT (Sports Network) - Donald Brown gained 150 yards on 34 carries with two touchdowns, including the go-ahead three-yard scoring run with 6:04 left in the fourth quarter, and Connecticut held on for a 31-28 win over Baylor.

Tyler Lorenzen completed 13-of-23 passes for 125 yards, with no scores and two interceptions, while rushing eight times for 73 yards and two scores for Connecticut (4-0). Brad Kanuch had four grabs for 30 yards to lead the Huskies.

Robert Griffin passed for 208 yards and three touchdowns, completing 14-of-25 passes for Baylor (2-2), and added 46 yards and a score on the ground on 23 carries. Kendall Wright had six grabs for 114 yards and a score, and Justin Akers gained 61 yards on four catches, two for touchdowns for the Bears.

Jay Finley gained 85 yards on 11 carries for Baylor.

Trailing 28-24 in the fourth quarter, UConn went in front on Brown's scoring run with 6:04 to play. Baylor could not answer, and the Huskies held on for another win.

Akers gave the Bears the early lead when he hauled in a 16-yard scoring toss from Griffin with 7:53 left in the first quarter, but Lorenzen's seven-yard TD run with 12:11 remaining in the second tied the game at 7-7.

Baylor pushed back ahead on Akers' 14-yard TD catch with 8:38 left in the half, but Brown's one-yard scoring plunge with 3:14 to play in the quarter knotted the game at 14-14, where it stood at the half.

Tony Ciaravino's 39-yard field gave UConn a three-point lead with 10:11 remaining in the third quarter, but Griffin's two-yard TD dive gave the Bears a 21-17 edge with 6:48 left in the third. Lorenzen burst through the Baylor defense for a 34-yard scoring run to put the Huskies up 24-21 with 5:16 remaining in the third, and UConn took a three-point lead into the fourth quarter.

Wright's 19-yard scoring grab put Baylor up 28-24 with 11:13 left in regulation, but Brown and UConn had one more answer in the back-and-forth game.
