Hawaii's Colt Brennan breaks NCAA touchdown record

Hawaii's Colt Brennan just broke the NCAA record for most TD's in a season, breaking Houston's David Klinger's record of 55. Klinger played set the record in 1990, in only 12 games and when bowl games didn't count for stats. However, this is still a momentous accomplishment by a QB in D-I football. Brennan, compared to Notre Dame's Brady Quinn and Heisman winner Troy Smith from Ohio State, has much better statistics:

Brady Quinn: 63.7% completion, 3,378 yards, 35 TD's and 5 INT's

Troy Smith: 67% completion, 2,507 yards, 30 TD's and 5 INT's

Colt Brennan: 72.5% completion, 5,381 yards, 56 TD's and 12 INT's

Meanwhile, Hawaii leads Arizona State 27-10 in the 4th quarter.
