A new blog from North Jersey Media Group's Adita Kinkhabwala has been providing in depth coverage of Rutgers this summer. Today, she likens WR Kenny Britt to T.O. without the attitude, but unfortunately with the drops. I suppose there are worse people to have at WR than a TO. Hopefully Mike Teel's new confidence can put the ball in places where even I wouldn't drop it. And the drops won't lead Teel to grumble off the field like the Manning that isn't Peyton. It was a dropped pass by James Townswend in the 3OT game against WV that cost Rutgers the BCS. Schiano has been preaching the "fine line between winning and losing" this summer. He has been going as far as cutting water breaks for everyone because one guy doesn't run ALL the way to the water jug. Classic move right there. Hearing that the team looked good is great and all, but hearing that Schiano is still kicking their asses for little stuff like that makes me even more excited for what is to come in the coming years for this program.

Schiano is a GREAT coach. I think the WV loss was the result of feeling disrespected by the BCS in general. Good to hear that Schiano is acting like they haven't won anything yet, the players need to keep that underdog mentality in order to claim their full respect.
